Welcome to Sebajagat
Seba Jagat is a Non-Governmental, Non-political, Non-profit making Voluntary Organisation, has been working in Kalahandi District since 1992. The main aim of the Organisation is to establish a just, sustainable and participatory society by utilizing local available resources and people’s organization’s where each individual will live in dignity and self respect.
What and where we do?
we are working for the cause of poor category of people for their sustainable development by enhancing the capacity of village committees, Baidya Sangha, Peoples organization different issue based organization to improve the quality of vulnerable people in the community and giving hand holding support to manage their own problem. Our present focus is to actives the tribal people, Oppressed, Marginalized, Women & Children of tribal dominated district Kalahandi and Kondhamal of Odisha towards their Socio-Economic cultural and political empowerment.
PROGRAMME & Activities
Odisha State is blossom with rich natural resources. But unfortunately living condition of majority of its people is very pitiable. Due to improper mechanism of utilization of resources many people in our operation area are forced to migrate to cities and towns in other states to find work though the state and central government who have launched implementation of many beneficial schemes.
Award and appreciation
Bishnu Majhi from Seba Jagat participated in the cultural programme of Natya Chetna which has been performed during 10th.November to 16th. November,2011. Karamvir Puraskar Ceremony has been organized by ICCNGO at New Delhi during 26-27 November, 2011 where Mr.S.N.Pattanayak and Mrs. Roshnara Mohanty attended and Mrs. Roshnara Mohanty awarded the Karmavir Puraskar for her extraordinary quality of Social work.
